We operate a range of properties from luxury permanent lodges to intimate tented camps that move with the Great Migration. All our accommodations offer en-suite bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and fine dining. Our camps are designed to immerse you in the wilderness while providing every comfort — think hot showers, gourmet meals, and sundowners overlooking the savanna.

Most of our camps and lodges offer solar-powered electricity and charging stations for cameras and devices. Wi-Fi is available at most properties, though connectivity in remote areas like the Serengeti can be limited. We encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy the bush experience — but we understand the need to stay in touch.

Absolutely. Our chefs are experienced in catering to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher, and other dietary needs. Please inform us of any requirements at the time of booking so we can prepare accordingly. Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients are used wherever possible.

We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, especially for peak season (June to October) and the Great Migration period (December to March for calving, June to August for river crossings). Last-minute availability can sometimes be arranged during the green season (March to May).

Our rates typically include full board accommodation (all meals), game drives with an experienced guide, park entry fees, and transfers between properties. Some packages also include bush walks, sundowners, and cultural visits. Flights, travel insurance, visa fees, and personal expenses are usually excluded. Each property page lists exact inclusions.

Cancellations made 60+ days before arrival receive a full refund minus a small admin fee. Cancellations 30-59 days before arrival incur a 50% charge. Within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. Specific cancellation terms are detailed in your booking confirmation.

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers, and mobile money payments (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money) through our secure Pesapal payment gateway. A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due 60 days before arrival.

Tanzania offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round, but the dry season (June-October) is considered peak safari season with excellent visibility and concentrated wildlife around water sources. The Great Migration calving season (January-March) in the southern Serengeti is spectacular. The green season (March-May) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower rates. Pack neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, brown), layers for cool mornings and warm afternoons, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (SPF 50+), insect repellent, binoculars, and a good camera with a zoom lens. Avoid bright colours (especially blue, which attracts tsetse flies). Most camps provide laundry service. Light aircraft flights have a strict 15kg luggage limit in soft-sided bags.

Yes! We welcome families and offer family-friendly accommodations at most of our properties. Children aged 5 and above can join game drives. Some properties offer dedicated family tents, child-friendly menus, and activities such as nature walks and junior ranger programs. We recommend Tarangire and the Ngorongoro area for families as they offer shorter driving distances and diverse wildlife.

Tanzania's Northern Circuit is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) plus cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, and over 800 bird species. The Serengeti and Ngorongoro offer the highest concentration of predators in Africa. Wildlife sightings vary by season and location — our guides know exactly where to find the best viewing opportunities.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Tanzania. Citizens of many countries can obtain an e-visa online at visa.immigration.go.tz or a visa on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Processing typically takes 1-3 business days for e-visas. We recommend applying at least 2 weeks before your trip. A valid passport with at least 6 months' validity is required.

Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from an endemic country. Recommended vaccinations include hepatitis A and B, typhoid, and tetanus. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended — consult your travel health clinic at least 6-8 weeks before travel. Tanzania requires no COVID-19 vaccination for entry (as of 2024).

Most guests fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, Tanzania's safari capital. From there, we arrange road transfers or light aircraft flights to our properties. Road transfers to Tarangire and Ngorongoro take 2-3 hours. The Serengeti is best reached by scheduled light aircraft (1 hour) or by road via the Ngorongoro Gate (6-8 hours).

Tanzania is one of East Africa's safest and most politically stable countries. Safari areas are well-managed and secure. Our experienced guides ensure your safety throughout your stay. As with any travel destination, we advise basic precautions: avoid displaying expensive jewellery, use hotel safes, and follow your guide's instructions during game drives.
